报告人简介:

       邵松教授就职于中国科学技术大学，博士生导师，主要从事动力系统复杂性方面的研究，研究成果涉及拓扑动力系统、遍历理论及其在数论等方面的应用。2009年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才支持计划，获2018年度国家自然科学二等奖（排名第三）。相关工作发表在 MAMS, TAMS,  Adv. Math., Erg. Th & Dyn. Sys, Israel J. Math., Fund. Math. JDE.等知名期刊。先后主持多项国家自然科学基金项目、重点项目。

摘      要：

       Furstenberg's multiple recurrence theorem states that any topological dynamical system has multiple recurrent points, which is equivalent to the famous van der Waerden's theorem: any piecewise syndetic subset of natural numbers contains arbitrarily long arithmetic progressions. In this talk we discuss the relation between multiple recurrence and piecewise syndetic subsets. This talk is based on the joint work with Prof. W. Huang and Prof. X. Ye.
