王玉昭,北京大学数学博士,现任英国伯明翰大学数学学院副教授。主要研究调和分析与偏微分方程,其主要研究领域是非线性色散偏微分方程(PDEs)的数学分析,工具包括谐波分析、概率论和动力系统。在Ann. Inst. H. Poincaré Anal. Non Linéaire,SIAM J. Math. Anal.,J. Differential Equations等杂志发表多篇论文。
摘 要:
In this talk, I will present some of our recent work on the Gibbs measures construction for NLS with a trapping potential. Such Gibbs measures appeared in the study of statistical Bose gases and Bose-Einstein condensates. In particular, for the defocusing case with quartic nonlinear interactions, it has been rigorously derived from many-body quantum mechanics. I will go over some recent progress about the construction of the focusing Gibbs measures and their application.
