报告人简介:

       乐鹏宇，北京雁栖湖应用数学研究院助理研究员，研究方向为微分几何和与广义相对论。博士毕业于瑞士苏黎世联邦理工学院，曾在美国密西根大学进行博士后研究。相关工作发表于J. Differential Geom, Ann. PDE, Comm. Math. Phys. 等本领域国际主流学术期刊。

摘      要：

       In this talk, we shall introduce the Lorentz polarisation in the Minkowski spacetime, which is the analogy of the polarisation in the Euclidean space. Similar to the application of the Euclidean polarisation to the classical isoperimetric inequality, we shall apply the Lorentz polarisation to study an analogous isoperimetric inequality for the volume of domain of dependence in Minkowski spacetime, and some other geometric variational problems.
