报告人简介:

       周富军，华南理工大学数学学院教授、博导，现任数学与应用数学系主任。本科毕业于兰州大学，博士毕业于中山大学，曾先后访问德国汉诺威莱布尼兹大学、美国布朗大学。已主持国家自然科学基金三项、省部级基金四项，入选首批“广东特支计划”百千万工程青年拔尖人才。主要从事生物数学中的自由边界问题、气体动理学方程及其流体力学极限等方面的研究，研究成果已发表在TAMS, SIMA, JDE, Nonlinearity, Euro JAM, DCDS等杂志上。

摘      要：

       In this talk, we give recent progress on diffusive limit of one-species Vlasov-Maxwell-Boltzmann system. By employing the weighted energy method with two newly introduced weight functions and some novel treatments, we solve this problem for the full range of cutoff hard potentials. Uniform estimate with respect to the Knudsen number is established globally in time, which eventually leads to the global existence of solutions to one-species Vlasov-Maxwell-Boltzmann system and hydrodynamic limit to the incompressible Navier-Stokes-Fourier-Maxwell system. This is a joint work with Weijun Wu, Weihua Gong and Yuan Xu.
