报告人简介:

        福建师范大学数学与统计学院教授，闽江学者特聘教授，博士生导师；研究方向为微分几何，在WIillmore 2维球面的分类、Willmore曲面的可积系统刻画及关于高亏格对称曲面的Willmore猜想相关问题上作出了一系列工作，相关论文发表于J. Diff. Geom、J. Reine Angew Math、Adv Math、Math. Ann、Math. Z、Sci. China Math、Nagoya Math. J、Pacific J. Math、Bull. LMS、Tohoku Math. J及Proc. AMS等期刊；主持国家自然科学基金面上项目3项，青年基金1项，福建省雏鹰计划青年拔尖人才项目1项。

摘      要：

       The Gauss maps play important roles in the geometry of surfaces. For instance, the harmonicity of Gauss map of minimal surfaces, CMC surfaces and Willmore surfaces lead to many beautiful characterization of these surfaces. In this talk, we will discuss various harmonic “Gauss type maps” associated to a Willmore surface, as well as some applications.
