报告人简介:

       季策,清华大学数学科学系博士后,在北京大学数学科学学院完成本科和博士阶段的学习。研究方向为几何与数学物理,广泛关心受理论物理启发涌现的数学结构。其具体工作落脚于以Gromov--Witten理论为代表的计数几何理论与可积系统的联系。在Witten猜想的推广、KP/BKP型可积系统的结构研究等问题上取得创新性成果。相关工作发表在数学物理方向知名期刊Journal of Geometry and Physics上。入选清华大学“水木学者”计划资助。


摘      要:

       The deep connection between enumerative geometry and integrable hierarchies has been fascinating since early 1990s. In this talk we address our recent progress on two questions: whether an enumerative geometry theory is related to KP-type hierarchy; how to locate such a theory inside the space of KP hierarchies. Both answers lead to the structure of an underlying Riemann surface, in the sense of “classical” and “quantum” respectively.  This talk is based on joint works with Shuai Guo, Chenglang Yang and Qingsheng Zhang.
