       赵威任，现为New York University Abu Dhabi助理教授。主要从事调和分析及其在流体力学中的应用，相关成果发表于Ann. of Math., CPAM, Memoirs of AMS, ARMA, Adv. Math., Ann. PDE., CMP, JFA, JMPA等国际期刊上。 

摘      要：

         In this talk, I will present recent joint work with Bedrossian and Zi on the long-time collisionless limit of the Vlasov-Poisson-Landau Equations (VPL). We establish the Landau damping for the solution to the VPL with initial data close to the global Maxwellian in Gevrey-(2-) class. Moreover, we proved that such a solution converges to the solution to the Vlasov-Poisson equation with the same initial data as the collision frequency approaches 0.
