陈桢栋,上海交通大学,博士后。博士毕业于香港中文大学,主要从事可压缩流体方程方面的研究。
摘 要:
In the talk, we show the shock formation to the two-dimensional rotating shallow water system with a large class of initial data. The formation of shock is characterized by the collapse of the characteristic hypersurfaces, where the first-order derivatives of the velocity, the height, and the specific vorticity blow up while the potential vorticity remains Lipschitz continuous. The key observation is that the coupling between the vorticity wave and the acoustical waves is weak; meanwhile, the potential vorticity is conserved along the particle path. This is the joint work with Chunjing Xie.
