报告人简介:

       杨东成副教授,现工作在华南理工大学数学学院, 从事动理学方程等偏微分方程的数学理论研究,已在国际顶级期刊 Communications in Mathematical Physics, Archive for Rational Mechanics and Analysis, J. Math. Pures Appl. 等上发表学术论文10余篇。


摘      要:

         Understanding the long-time behavior of solutions around non-trivial profiles for the Vlasov-Poisson-Landau system is an important and challenging problem. In this talk, we will construct the global-in-time solution near a  local Maxwellian to the Vlasov-Poisson-Landau system with slab symmetry for the physical Coulomb interaction when the initial data connects two distinct global Maxwellians at the far fields  . The fluid components of this local Maxwellian are called viscous contact waves in the sense of hydrodynamics. We also prove the solution tends toward such local Maxwellian in large time.
